FairRose is a Los Angeles based collective created by Alberto Mendez (a.k.a Apollo) and Baraka Njenga (a.k.a Frankie Jax No Mad). Apollo and Frankie Jax met in college at The Los Angeles Film School where they both studied music production. Before attending college both Frankie Jax and Apollo had already begun pursuing careers as rappers/producers. As soon as the two met they began making music together.
Not long after working on music together Apollo and Frankie Jax began to collaborate on songs including "Cutthroat" and a couple of other tracks. The two then started performing at shows together around the Los Angeles area with venues including The Viper room, Boardners cocktail bar, and Lexington Bar to name a few. A while after working together Apollo and Frankie decided to start a collective of artists that are into all sorts of art forms such as music, drawing, and photography. The music artists in FairRose is not limited to one genre either going all the way from HipHop, to Rock, to R'n'B. The goal of FairRose is to be able to let artists freely express themselves.
FairRose intends to gain more members. FairRose will work to showcase its artists work to as many people as possible. The art created by FairRose artists will be what they wish to create. Shows and events will be held to present FairRose artist and friends. Be sure to check out the website and all FairRose accounts on social media for updates on FairRose ave.
